According to the The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) there has been an increase in the sightings of the False Black Widow Spider. At this time of year there is a increase in the activity of the male False Black Widow Spider as they are looking for a mate. If a False Black Widow Spider are most likely to be found in conservatories, door or window frames and porches. They are a venomous spider but their bites are comparable to a wasp sting. They are most commonly found between September and November time.
